Cedar Lane Pottery is Ana Reyes's small studio where mugs, bowls, and planters are thrown one at a time on the wheel. We also teach beginners how to do it themselves, every Saturday morning.
A studio on Cedar Lane
Cedar Lane Pottery is run by Ana Reyes out of a small studio at 12 Cedar Lane in Asheville, North Carolina. Every mug, bowl, and planter that leaves the studio is hand-thrown on the wheel — no molds, no mass production.
Alongside the finished pieces, Ana teaches beginner wheel-throwing classes on Saturday mornings, welcoming newcomers who want to get their hands in the clay and learn the basics of centering, pulling, and shaping.

Beginner Wheel Classes
Ana teaches beginner wheel-throwing classes right in the Cedar Lane studio. No experience is needed — just a willingness to get your hands into the clay and make a mess while you learn.
Space in the studio is limited, so the best way to save a seat is to call ahead.
